I will praise you, O Lord, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples

Psalm 57: 7-11
My heart is steadfast, O God,
my heart is steadfast;
I will sing and make music.
Awake, my soul!
Awake, harp and lyre!
I will awaken the dawn.

I will praise you, O Lord, among the
nations;
I will sing of you among the peoples.
For great is your love, reaching to the
heavens;
your faithfulness reaches to the
skies.
Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;
let your glory be over all the earth.

Truly, God has been good to us. Thank you, Lord, for the work you have done in our lives, in this ministry, the strength you have given us to keep persevering on, and the answering of our fervent prayers, in ways more wonderful and fulfilled than we could ever imagine.

Indeed, like the little boy who surrendered his five loaves and two fishes to Jesus, when we surrender our lives to him, truly He will bless us and those around us tenfold! He works in awesome ways =)

Just read Psalms 57, and thought it really captured all that I was feeling yesterday, Friday morning at FireAC worship. Truly, thank God for the wonderful sisters who led worship yesterday! We can see God glorified through your lives =) It's been such a long time since worship was so powerful... I don't know how many of you have felt that way before. Just that feeling of pouring your heart and soul out into the singing, and with each word that falls from your lips, just giving it as a humble offering to the Lord, empowered by the words, feeling the love and power of the Holy Spirit just moving in and through you as the chorus of voices all around rises in praise... That was true worship =)

Father Lord, one day the whole of ACS will lift their hands in such true worship every Monday morning. One day, devotions will be a time of honest, open sharing of hearts, a time to be recharged by God's word for the day. One day, people will gather in groups, whether in their classes or CCAs, in fervent prayer for the lost souls of this school. One day, every person that steps through this school will see the words of the Lord engraved on its walls being lived out in every ACSian.

Brothers and sisters, what we witnessed yesterday morning at FireAC, is only a glimpse of the future glory to come, given by our ever loving God who truly provides.

For those who may have just stumbled upon this blog, do join us, FireAC  7AM every morning, by the IB fountain for a time of worship and heartfelt sharing with your brothers and sisters in Christ. Singspiration is every Friday =)

And to my fellow workers in the ministry, lets always remember these moments and look forward to the next! Lets not forget the joy of this moment, and face the trials and hardships to come boldly knowing the Lord is by our side!

God bless you all,

Petrina
